Michelle Stender Architect is a Melbourne based Architecture and Interior Design practice that creates spaces for people to enjoy. We specialise in visualising the potential of complex and challenging buildings, typically houses, in need of significant refurbishment to meet the demands of modern life.

With each project, the practice aims to deliver a highly tailored solution that is design focused yet responsive to specific site conditions, client wishes and budget limits.

Michelle started the practice in 2003, after several years working locally with some of Melbourne's leading architectural practices, gaining experience across a broad range of residential, commercial, hospitality and education projects, in both Architecture and Interior Design fields. The practice philosophy has evolved to balance a high degree of functionality with simple forms in a modern aesthetic – creating a whole that enriches our client's lives and makes a positive contribution to the community.
